Friends! It’s Christmas time! *insert all the Christmas cheer*

We celebrate that Jesus began his journey to crucifixion and resurrection so that He could take His place inside every one of us who believes! The joyful coming of Light back into the world was always God’s unique plan for His creation! But I offer this to you: every December, we celebrate Jesus’ conception, not His birth.

How do we know Jesus was placed inside Mary in December? Because history shows he was born in September, and we can do math.

Nothing is more delightful to me than the fact that this WHOLE TIME, Christians have been celebrating his conception and not his birth. It’s such a wonderfully simple fact that life begins in the womb as soon as it begins and not a moment after. It’s so beautifully apropos that while the world tried to tell us life begins at birth and our celebration of Jesus’ coming was diverted to Mary’s delivery of Jesus, in reality, everyone has been celebrating the actual moment of His arrival as a human on earth: His conception by the Holy Spirit.

What was the purpose of Jesus coming? So that Jesus, The Anointed One, could dwell in you by faith. What better time of year to focus on the righteousness of Jesus that makes that possible for all humans? So the December Daily Scripture Guide is Righteousness by Faith.

I’m very excited about this, and I hope that it’s contagious! May our hearts be made light through the Truth of His Word. Let us actively remember the reality of Christ in us every day. We focus our thoughts on our perfect wholeness and deliverance in Jesus to be like Him in this world.
