Relationship with God | Part 1

2

You are 100% less likely to do something if you have no reason for it.

So why would you expect yourself to follow through on a habit of creating a relationship with God if you don’t have a solid reason? Religion has done a great job shaming people for “not being disciplined enough” in their relationship with God without ever addressing WHY people might not be motivated to do so.

First, if people are taught that God is cruel and unpredictable, there’s no good reason to build a relationship with Him.

Second, if people are taught that they are sinners who don’t deserve His love, there’s no good reason to build a relationship with Him.

By addressing these misconceptions in my book, ‘Becoming Believers,’ I aim to provide relief and clarity, making it easier for you to build a relationship with God! You have access to the whole book here on Substack by becoming an upgraded subscriber:

Finding your personal 'why' is not just important but crucial. It's what will keep you determined and focused on making time to cultivate a relationship with God. In this week’s video, we dive into this topic in detail.

Next week, you guys will get first access to new resources from me that support your relationship with God! Hint: if you’ve been here from the start, you will recognize it!

Happily,

Tabitha
